Founder of WFK Consultancy Ltd
I was the Senior Managing Director International for the CME Group until retiring in December 2022. My role comprised developing and running complex International businesses outside the US: in Asia, South America and EMEA, operating across different cultures and environments. Before that I was Global Head of Futures at RBS responsible for running all aspects of their international business in Futures and Prime Brokerage.
In both these roles I focused on developing team dynamics and optimising our operations across the Globe. Commercially driven with a focus on building businesses, we delivered outsized growth in a highly competitive market. I have worked in senior positions within industry associations, representing the derivatives industry with senior regulators, politicians and financial counterparties.

I have been on multiple company boards in the UK, Europe, US, India, China, Australia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Hong Kong.
I was on the Executive Board of the Futures Industry Association In Washington and Chairman of the Futures and Options Association in London. I have represented the Futures Industry with Exchanges, Financial counterparties and Senior Regulators around the world.
I led the team that Increased the revenue of the International business of CME from 20% to 38% of the revenue of the group and built out the infrastructure across Asia, South America and Europe.
I led the International element of the Integration of the $5bn NEX acquisition into the CME Infrastructure.
I helped develop and build the Joint venture between Galaxy Securities and RBS helping Galaxy Futures become a top 3 futures brokers in China. I was on the board of CNEX, a Chinese joint venture between CFETS and CME.
In November 2023 I received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the industry journal Futures & Options World.
